Lahore 27 April 2024 – The Pakistani cricket team etched another memorable chapter in their illustrious T20I history as they secured a hard-fought victory against New Zealand in the fifth and final match of the series. The nail-biting encounter, played at the Lahore Cricket Stadium, saw the hosts emerging triumphant by a narrow margin of nine runs, 5 matches series equal to 2-2.


Batting first, Pakistan posted a formidable total of 178 runs on the back of a blistering knock by opener Babar Azam, who smashed an unbeaten 69 off just 44 deliveries. His explosive innings, laced with nine boundaries and two towering sixes, provided the much-needed impetus to the Pakistani innings.
